Charles Starkweather, an American serial killer, also known as the "Spree Killer," was responsible for the murders of 11 people in Nebraska and Wyoming, along with his girlfriend Caril Fugate.
Early Life and Troubled Childhood
Charles Starkweather was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Guy Starkweather, a carpenter, and Helen Starkweather, a homemaker who occasionally worked as a waitress.
Charles had six siblings. He was born with a significant deformity in his knee joint, causing his legs to be severely crooked and suffered from a severe stutter. Due to these physical and speech impairments, Charles was bul
