Biography of Sammo Hung
Sammo Hung Kam-bo, known professionally as Sammo Hung, is a renowned actor, producer, director, screenwriter, fight choreographer, and stuntman in the Hong Kong film industry.
He was born with a few strands of hair on his head, which led to his nickname "Sammo," meaning "three hairs" in Chinese. Standing at 168 cm tall and weighing 99 kg, Sammo received his education at the Beijing Opera School.
Early Life and Education
Sammo began his training at the Yu Jim Yuen School of Beijing Opera, where all the students were given short names.
He was named Yuen Lung, which means "Dragon of Yuen." The training at this school was extremely rigorous, with teachers often resorting to physical punishment
